Kristin Skaare is a pianist, bandleader and composer with a varied and impressive career. After several decades as a musician, Skaare has also established herself with her own projects, performances and albums and is constantly creating either for her own projects or as commissioned works for others. On Transparency, Kristin explores a varied and appealing melodic palette with the piano at the center. From deep meditative and almost sacred pieces to bright, strong and life-affirming compositions. All the way in tasteful collaboration with Mats Eilertsen on bass, Nils Økland on fiddle and Rune Arnesen on drums. Transparency was recorded at Rainbow Studio in Oslo with Martin Abrahamsen.
